Here’s an excellent post I found today. Actually, one of my readers told me about it so it probably doesn’t count as me “discovering” it but the result is the same because now I can share it.
I get asked this question a lot. And you may have even asked it yourself in one of many ways, for example:
“What is Social Media?”
“I heard it’s for kids…”
“Social Media… isn’t that Facebook and MySpace?”
“Don’t you have understand technology to use Social Media?”
“How can I build my business with Social Media?”
“Isn’t Social Media a waste of time?”
Social Media is an exciting, evolving landscape with almost limitless possibilities for connecting, making new business relationships, marketing, promotion and especially getting to know that all important person – your customer. While some businesses have taken to Social Media Marketing like the proverbial fish to water, it’s important to acknowledge that some are still struggling with what’s probably the biggest shift in marketing for many years. They still have doubts social media can work for them. And they have many questions.
I’ve plans to address some of their questions in future posts. In the meantime James’ blog post looks at quite a few of them and is well worth a read.
Enjoy and feel free to comment here or on the post.
