According to Aberdeen Group’s recent (and very compelling) report – The ROI on Social Media Marketing – Why it pays to drive word of mouth – companies are allocating funding to Social Media Marketing. In some cases they are moving budgets completely from previously planned marketing expenditures, even revising budgets to increase their spend on Social Media Marketing.
