@Thea Montgomerie-Anderson: Hi Thea - I can't recommend any particular network, all I can do is give my opinion on what I think of SocialGo or whatever platform I'm looking at. As far as errors are concerned, don't forget that most social networking platforms are new and are ironing bugs out as they go along. When you say sites you've surfed have a lot of errors that's very general and without knowing in more detail I can't really comment, nor would I wish to. My suggestion would be to try the platform for yourself and see if it does what you want it to do or not. SocialGo has great customer service plus I know they can build custom networks on their platform so you might find you can do all you want to do. You need to ask them - they will be able to tell you. It's also one of the most interactive social networks I've seen for the price. There are always free social networks but you are limited in how you can customize or control them. The more customized you want your network the more you should be prepared to pay.

Best of luck though... if you do find one that works do drop by and let me know... I'm always interested in knowing what's out there.

I am looking at social networking software, social go seems good initiallly but the sites using it i have surfed have a lot of errors.

i have a music listings site but want to make it interactive, eg users can review and upload photos of gigs and view interviews with the bands etc. i want them to be able to upload by mobile video and written reviews for that INSTANT appeal.

what would you recommend? i am in a pickle. i also have access to rights to film bands and turn it into VOD or internet TV so want the site to feed where ever that gets stored. i need it up and running by end of may 2010 as that is when the festivals kick off in the uk.
