If you’re looking for inspiration for a different way of doing things… or perhaps just a few new ideas, one of the best places to look is outside your industry. My example comes from the music industry – Coldplay.com. Even though I intended to write this post a couple in December, the fact that Coldplay have been nominated for 7 Grammys tells me I’d better get a move on and write it.

Chris Brogan’s recent post No Comment, acknowledged the very real discouragement you can feel when you’re blogging away with seemingly nothing (meaning comments) to show for it. If you haven’t already read the post, go and check it out. The comments in particular are revealing. They show just how deeply disappointing it can be not getting comments. It can hurt. So what can you do about it? Here are some things I did.
