Old Street Car by Nicky Jameson
Street Car in Leslieville

Old Street Car

This is one of my new art compositions representing a vintage approach and also a new art creation horizon as I expand my array of tools to a new Wacom Intuos Art tablet and pen and an Apple Ipad Pro and Apple pencil. These street cars are becoming vintage memorabilia, with the new street cars coming into service. They are kind of an iconic piece of Toronto, soon to be relegated to the past and maybe brought out on Canada Day. I am very proud of this latest composition as I have never used a Wacom or an iPad before to create anything. This is fun!

Lots more learning ahead as well as creating new art which means learning new ways to express and share cherished moments, memories, nostalgia and connection to home – in addition to what I already do! I am very excited, although it is probably going to leave me even less time for writing on my blog. I simply cannot do it all (create, blog, write, post) as consistently as I would like. So in the meantime my plan is for the blog may have monthly updates, while my newsletter remains bi-weekly and my Instagram daily (or as near as). I am also hoping to  make more use of video in the months ahead. We’ll see. Do ensure you are on my newsletter so as not to miss my latest  creations and special releases or follow me on Instagram by clicking on the image below. Remember I also have my art on cushions and throw pillows, mugs, totes and more. So even if a big picture waits for you to clear space you can have your tea or coffee in some beautiful art.

Old Street Car With the new Toronto Street Cars these old ones are on the way out to becoming vintage memorabilia. I took this photo Queen Street, Leslieville, just outside the Arts Market and its one of my first using my new IpadPro and my new Wacom tablet. #contemporaryart #fineart #artoftheday #artsy #instaart #instaartist #loveart #toronto #torontolife #nickyjameson #streetcar #artsmarketleslieville #vintage #igerstoronto #torontoigers #tdot #artistsofinstagram #torontophoto #downtowntoronto #torontostreetcar #imagesoftoronto #art #torontoart #contemporaryart #grungeart #artforsale #draw #torontophotography #ipadart
