I feel that part of my role as a photographer is to capture the unexpected. Mostly, the unexpected happens when you are least prepared (which is why it is unexpected!), so having your camera poised and ready when that perfect moment arrives

Red Boat
My choice of photograph to illustrate this post is one I’ve simply called “Red Boat”.
Tower Bridge London
Tower Bridge is an amazing bridge to walk or drive across. The incredible size of the towers makes you feel you’re entering a gateway into a different kingdom, instead of just moving from one bank of the River Thames to the next!
Blackfriars Railway Bridge
In my photo you can see the columns of Blackfriars Bridge peeking out from the leftmost arch of the railway bridge – they really are that close! I like to think of bridges as works of art themselves, which is why I like to capture them and offer them as fine art prints.
