Nicky Star Fishing in a Mystical Land is a whimsical art composition I created recently.
More than a little inspired by the beautiful and unforgettable Coldplay A Head Full of Dreams concert I went to on August 21st in Toronto, I felt very moved to create art that had skies, stars and stories that reflected something of the feeling of that night, since we all felt lifted to another dimension. What a fantastic night that was! I jumped and danced and sang and my feet hurt at the end, but I’d do it all again in a heartbeat. I have yet to translate the entirety of feelings into my art, maybe because it was such a magical night and experience. I have jotted down many thoughts and ideas though and I can’t wait to execute them through my art. I think part of the reason this concert was such an immense experience is that in these uncertain times it was just what we needed to remind us of the power of music love, hope and the energy of connection and how it is so important to believe in ourselves and take care of one another. I was inspired anew and grateful for the gift of being able to create art that expresses my feelings… even though the journey may go in a slightly different direction. Digital artistry, photo artistry is such an amazing adventure for me.
So I started my new art composition ” Star Fishing in A Mystical Land” wanting to fill my sky full of stars and then something happened along the way so I went star fishing instead.
