The Shard

The Shard London Bridge

I’ve been setting up my fine art website for the past few weeks and working out how to incorporate all my web properties in one place so they all work together. I’ve also been out and about taking photos as well as working on and posting all the photographs I took in London this summer. You can see many of them on my Google Plus page as well as on my Fine Art website. This photograph is one I took of The Shard, London Bridge. I had planned to go up to the top, however tickets were sold out for about the next three months at least. It was pretty expensive too so my panoramic trip will have to  wait until next time. I was happy to be able to get several photographs of the Shard from street level. It is so tall that I felt I would have to lie on the ground to get a tall perspective. In the end I didn’t have to, but I did lean back pretty far.

I am pleased that we can embed Google Plus posts in our blogs and websites… I can post a photo there and have the option of blogging about it here on my blog. I think it all adds up to more interlinking and definitely a way add a little something extra to the blog. I will be playing around with this. If you’re already embedding, share your thoughts.
