Toronto Photography – Night Falls
Night Falls is a winter night time photography shot I took a couple of years ago in one of Toronto’s biggest winter storms.

Winter is a great time for Toronto photography, and night photography in the snow can be magical, completely transforming everywhere. February 2013 was when we had the snow storm everyone remembers. It had been snowing so hard that the lake was more or less hidden and was covered in a dense almost foggy snow.
It’s hard to believe that in this spot there was quite a bit of construction… I used the thick falling snow, the street light globes, the backdrop of the lake and the canopy of trees to compose this night time winter scene right on my doorstep. Yes, Toronto photography can be most interesting in winter… and well worth a few cold fingers, tumbles into snow drifts and snow flurries to capture a never-to-be-repeated scene. You can read my original post here. Two years later and the construction has (sadly) increased so most of the Harbourfront is now inaccessible and not very picturesque. As Winter gives way to hopes of spring,I love that I can look back at my winter photographs and enjoy Winter’s beauty any time I wish through my photography and art prints. Enjoy.
