Here is one of my recent artworks, a watercolour painting called Red Brick.

Red Brick is a painting from my photograph taken on a street near Covent Garden. I love the building… and it really is red brick on top (though I can’t for the life of my recall the street name (note to self, write down or record the street!). I created it on my IPadPro, painting it using ArtRage for iPad. As a Digital Photo Artist my main tool for creating my art is Photoshop. However I have been creating more and more using my iPadPro along with my Apple Pencil. I want to be able to create art even if I am not at my computer, in other words, be able to create art when I am mobile and where ever I happen to be. With amazing apps like ArtRage and Procreate and more it’s not only possible it’s the new way of freedom in creativity. Along with my list of learning I’ve added painting incorporating my digital art and needless to say one of my goals is to master Procreate as another of my digital art tools. We have so many today, it’s wonderful. I have no idea if I’ll make this available for sale in my art shop yet. You can let me know if you’d like me to. Or sign up for my newsletter and see if I do eventually. I outlined my process in the above screen shot and I am quite pleased it turned out as well as it did.
In the meantime you can see more of my art at my Instagram feed.
