Books in Perspective

You are here: Home / Photography / Books in Perspective

July 11, 2013 By //  by Nicky Jameson

Ceiling to floor with books. I shot this lying on our hallway floor, just to see how it came out. Most of my books are now on my Kindle, (which, along with my camera, goes with me everywhere) however our paper books still line our hallway.

Nicky Jameson Photos: Faves &emdash; Ceiling to Floor

A friend of mine described this photo as a “feel good” shot. It’s also been “reblogged” hundreds of times by apparent book lovers. It is one of my favourite shots. I have always been a prolific reader and I like the fact that, even with the ease and convenience of Kindles, iPads, and the like people still love the tactile feel and ambience of books. The book I’ve spotted most people reading of recent is “Game of Thrones” A song of Fire and Ice. And yes, I am watching the series.
